As both Christians and professional Web Designers we feel it is important that Churches in particular have sites of the highest standards both in terms of design, accessibility and content - Your website is as much a part of your ministry as your Sunday services and should therefore be approached with the same consideration and planning.

We feel that as Christians we should not be excluding certain groups of people from effectively accessing web sites - we would not exclude someone from church because they were blind for example, yet web designers frequently exclude the blind (and many other groups of people) from the sites that they build! That's not the image we ought to be presenting. We have researched the issues surrounding accessibility on the web and aim to share what we have learned to help promote better understanding and raise the standard of church websites.

Although there are a lot of Christian web design companies out there, and a certain amount of useful advice, we felt that a lot of that advice was somewhat limited or out dated. We started this project because we both felt a strong sense that this is what God wants us to be doing.

Of course in addition to giving away free help and advice to enable you to build your own website, we also build websites ourselves - if you would like us to build your church site for you we'd be happy to talk to you about your requirements.

We have recently finished rebuiding the website for our church - St John's, Hillingdon - we have recieved quite a bit of positive feedback so far and our online church community is growing steadily. The previous build of the St John's site was shortlisted for "Best church website" at the Premier Christian Radio Awards in September 2007.
