At this stage it is also worth considering your communication structure - if you want regular updates you need to be able to keep your webmaster up to date with news and possible new content for the site - the webmaster job can be very lonely if no-one tells them anything! Finding out news that should have been added to the site and is now no longer relevant is very frustrating. This should be a team effort between the webmaster and anyone who organises anything!
If you choose a Contact Management System (CMS) or "Click and Build" system for your website this will enable you to share the workload for updating the site - more about this later - CWS offer reasonably priced custom built CMS sites see our portfolio for examples.
Also having fresh and inviting content on your site is good to keep people coming back. As an added bonus search engines seem to like sites that are updated regularly too - they are more likely to crawl your site if they have new things to find.
